Read First: Information for FPS Scholarships
Many organizations and families connected to Farmington Public Schools and within the community offer scholarships for FPS graduating seniors in partnership with the Farmington/Farmington Hills Education Foundation. A brief description of these scholarships and eligibility requirements are listed in the categories below.
Directions - Please Read Carefully
- Students may apply for all scholarships that match their eligibility. Please review each scholarship individually to see if you qualify.
- All applications must be completed online. Each scholarship has an individual application link. No paper applications are available.
- You must be signed into a Google account to open and fill out the applications. Your FPS account is a Google account. (After you submit an application, you should automatically receive a copy to this Google account that you used to fill out the application.)
- Essays must be typed right within the application form. You will NOT be uploading essays (but you can copy and paste text into the form). That said, at the end of each application, while it is not necessary (unless indicated in your form), there is an optional opportunity to upload any additional supporting documents. So you may wish to be logged into the same Google account where your supporting document resides.
- After you are signed in with a Google account, within the application, you will be asked to provide email addresses two more times: one preferred email address for application reviewers to reach you if needed. This can be the same account you used to sign in. Later in the form, you will need to provide a non-FPS email address where you can be reached after graduation if necessary. (The preferred contact email and non-FPS emails do not have to be Google emails.)
- Many of the scholarship awards can be used for items outside of traditional tuition (e.g., books, supplies, lab fees, and other education-related expenses).
- Some scholarships require that funds be sent directly to the educational institution.
- The Farmington/Farmington Hills Education Foundation is proud to manage a variety of scholarships that are generally open to all regardless of background, identity, or disability. Some scholarships may have a specific intent as established by the sponsor/donor and therefore maintain certain eligibility requirements (e.g., male athletics or U.S. citizenship).
- Questions: Students should first contact their high school counselor. For additional questions, email chair@ffhedfoundation.org.
All applications are due on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at midnight.
